Diamond Point Estates was developed in the summer of 1996 with approximately 80 on and off water lots ranging from a half acre to over 2 acres. This lake front neighborhood is located in Caldwell county on the north side of Lake Hickory about 2 miles off Hwy 321 between Charlotte and Blowing Rock. The mailing address in Hickory, NC but the low tax assessment is only from the county.

The rolling hills of this area in Western NC afford wonderful views of Lake Hickory. Diamond Point offers lake views from many of its interior lots because of the slope off the main channel.

Square foot minimum for building is 1100 for one story and /or 1200 for 2 story home. Setbacks are 30 ft from front line, 10 ft from side, 25 ft from back and 15 ft from side street. Buy Now, Build Later but once you start building you have a year to complete. Only stick built homes are allowed.  Available utilities include Charter cable, Century Link DSL, Direct TV, Dish, Piedmont Natural Gas, Duke Energy Electric, and Caldwell county water. Lots need to be perked for septic systems.
