Northlakes

Northlakes was first developed in the late 1970s as management housing for the company Siecor, now Corning, Inc.  Northlakes is located in SE Caldwell county on the north side of Lake Hickory. It consists of several different subdivisions including: Northlakes Knoll, Northalkes Estates and Gold Creek Estates.

Northlakes Estates is a lake access community with 292 homes and several vacant lots in Hickory, NC with a lot to offer.  From its beautiful neighborhoods to private boat access and recreation areas, Northlakes has something for everyone.  Situated on Lake Hickory close to Hwy 321 and just a few miles North of I-40, Northlakes is a great location for commuters and shoppers. Whether you are raising a family, retired or in between Northlakes is a great place to live!

The Northlakes Estates community has a voluntary Home Owners Association.  It relies on residents to pay annual dues of $75.00 per household to maintain the common areas and recreational grounds.  Paying HOA members receive a key which allows them access to the private boat launch and beach areas.
